Discover our story, values, and the vision that has shaped generations of learners since 2006.
The motion to establish a school in Koumassi was first moved by Pastor M.A. Ayanlude, the then minister of Ogo Oluwa Baptist Church, in 2004. After approval from the Marcory Baptist Church council, Saturday kindergarten classes began under the care of Mr. Adeleke.
By August 2006, through the tireless work of the Marcory Baptist Church Group of Schools committee — led by the late Prof. Adebowale — a full academic session commenced in Koumassi, providing affordable, sound education to the children of the community.
In August 2009, ownership was handed over to Ogo Oluwa Baptist Church, who renamed it "Glory Nursery and Primary School." In 2011/12, the school celebrated its first twelve graduates — "The Disciples" — all of whom are university graduates today. By God's grace, the secondary section was established in 2012, and the school was renamed Glory Academy.
